Selina has a few locations throughout Ecuador, including Quito, Montañita, Baños, Amazon Tena, and of course Cuenca. The Cuenca Selina Coworking is located in the heart of the city, right in the middle of all the action. It’s got great views overlooking Cuenca with lots to do in the surrounding area, including some great lunchtime spots.
The coworking space is wood-panelled from floor to ceiling, giving it a modern “mountainy” vibe. It’s a fairly small space that gets busy throughout the day, but it’s mainly Selina employees passing through. It’s a comfy space with a mix of upholstered armchairs and more ergonomic office chairs, but sadly no standing desks.
When you pay for the day, week, or month, you’ll have access to free water, coffee, and basic kitchen space. There’s one Skype booth for phone calls and a meeting room as well as a chill-out area with a few couches to hang out with fellow coworkers. There’s not much in terms of social events, but for the most part, this is a great spot to hang out and work for a few weeks.
